Editorial Reviews:
Product Description New for 2010! Introducing the new Easton SV12 Ozone Adult BSV2 Baseball Bat. The SV12 is a piece design, that features a composite handle with an aluminum barrel, this combination helps give great durability and performance. The SV12 features Eastons Ozone Technology. Ozone, or Optimal Hitting Zone Technology, slightly thickens the barrel walls at the taper and end cap sections of the barrel to stiffen those areas which adds more trampoline effect and increases the overall performance and the maximum hitting area of the barrel. The Handle Flex Rating of 65 provides increased handle flex, which is a great fit for the overall hitter. The handle of the SV12 is made with Eastons patented IMX Composite. IMX is Integrated Matrix Technology, which optimizes composite design, materials and process for maximum performance. The BSV2 has a 2 5/8 inch barrel and a -3 length to weight ratio and is BESR certified. The Easton SV12 Speed is backed by Easton`s exclusive 400 day manufacturers warranty.

Customer Reviews: Easton SV12 BSV2 65 March 12, 2010 Ronald Haefner (great plains) Great bat. My son loves the bat. And it is BESR rated.
It has the flex rating of 65 which many other players are also using.
Just need to watch the temperature in which the bat is used. Some batting cages may have fairly cool temperatures. Its not recommended that the bat be used below 60 for best life. It is a composite bat and is very strong but still uses resins for binding agents.
Only one minor detail. The grip tape was loose at the bottom of the bat. Had to re wrap the bottom 2 inches. Still a great bat.
